About Deputy Howell- On Saturday, August 15, 2015 Deputy Carl Howell, a United States Marine and Deputy Sheriff with the Carson City Sheriff’s Department, responded to a Domestic Violence call where he was killed in the line of duty. Deputy Howell died a hero, protecting and serving our community. He left behind a wife and four children now ages 8-13.
About His Memorial Event- A music festival, fundraiser, and memorial event will be held by The Last Response Memorial Fund around the second anniversary of Deputy Howell’s death on August 19, 2017. The event will serve as a fundraiser for Deputy Howell’s children and all proceeds will be placed into a trust fund for their benefit.
