The Voodoo Cats play passionate, original rock music.  The Voodoo Cats have recently headlined venues and played shows with George Lynch & the Lynch Mob, the Greg Golden Band, Gilby Clarke of Guns & Roses, Seasons of Insanity and Max Volume.  They have opened shows for  Bill Ward (Black Sabbath), Black Crowes, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. You can hear their love of classic rock in their original compositions.  Influences from Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Tommy Bolin, and Led Zeppelin can be heard and felt in their original songs besides showing influences of Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, and Howling Wolf.   Come hear the band, come feel the mystery and power of the music.  Paul Schum  on guitars, Del Monroe on vocals, Scott Hudson on bass, Brock Slocum on drums..

About Deputy Howell- On Saturday, August 15, 2015 Deputy Carl Howell, a United States Marine and Deputy Sheriff with the Carson City Sheriff’s Department, responded to a Domestic Violence call where he was killed in the line of duty. Deputy Howell died a hero, protecting and serving our community. He left behind a wife and four children now ages 8-13.

New Year’s Eve 2016 at the Rockbar Theater Reno was definitely the place to be to ring in the new year. Rockbar owners Susan Cramer and Robert Farrell had the place jumpin’ with a great lineup that included Reno locals The Voodoo Cats and Seasons Of Insanity along with touring acts The Big Nobs, Gilby Clarke and the headliner Lynch Mob featuring a reunited George Lynch and Oni Logan.

The icy cold temperatures, a Reno staple for New Year’s Eve, didn’t seem to matter to anyone as the venue was fairly packed the whole night.
